Independent means conservative. A conservative party is never going to rise until they get on board with social issues with liberals. The people of this country are changing their views on social issues, and it isn't a move to the right, it's a move left. Hence, the slow death of any conservative leaning party.

LOL, by whose definition? I know the liberal media is doing their best to make it seem like traditional American ideals are going in the toilet. I will give you that the dems are winning some big elections of late. The truth is that while the results of recent presidential elections seem like a validation of the liberal monsters who have presided over the butcher of over 55 million babies. Those results are wrongly attributed as support of the liberal agenda. The winning margin was bought and paid for with taxpayer dollars in the form of bribes and entitlements. The majority of America is still conservative. Naïve in the extreme, but conservative.
