Did not say it was weak, but do think it could be better. Lex Cath is not that good and should not give BG much trouble, St. X will be a good game, BS average at best, TN teams average, Warren Central good last year not sure what they have back, Owensboro average. would have liked to have seen a Trinity,Highlands, Cov Cath, Cincinnati team type game on the schedule; I know it is hard to work those games out and travel is tough, but still would have liked to have seen a more marque game.

Its hard to schedule a "strong" schedule in the opinion of other state powers.
Unless BG schedules Trinity, along with ST.X they would actually be playing down when playing the rest of the state. Highlands would be the only other "strong" opponent for BG and Highlands is playing down a class.

I think BG is doing it right by slowly picking the schedule up. They are playing some quality programs out of Tennessee. I just dont understand how they could schedule better teams than Lex Cath and Bryan Station. All of 5A is watered down horribly when it comes to tough competetion, and I understand there wanting to play Owensboro, so unless they schedule some teams like T and Highlands, I just dont see how they could do any better, and the thing about that is, those teams may not be able to schedule BG.
