Wasn't he at Paintsville last year? If so, that is a scary thought. I was impressed with his arm strength. His throwing motion needed work, because he didn't use his hips or feet much in his release. But seemed to have a cannon. If that is the same kid, then that opens up Pikevilles ability to throw the ball. He had no time and absolutely no speed or skill guys outside to get the ball to. That being said, if all this is the case and he indeed was the qb at Paintsville last year, then that could very well change my opinion and put Pikeville as the favorite, atleast in my mind, to win the east. The east will be much more competitive than the west. The west will come down to Mayfield and Beechwood with an outside chance of Russellville suprising someone. With Pikeville, Hazard, Raceland, Fairview and an outside shot of Williamsburg out of the east.
