My hat is off to your commitment 64sur. You pick up right where you left off each and every year. I commend you on that.

Lets take a brief look at the schedules of Pikeville, Raceland, Fairview, and Williamsburg:

Raceland Schedule Analysis:
Plays up in class with ever NON-DISTRICT game. Not only that but is playing quality upper class opponents, by playing Ashland(hung with Highlands in last years playoffs), Lawrence Co(solid school on the rise again), Dawson-Bryant(Along the lines of Russell as far as talent goes), OH, and Ironton, OH(Has pretty much dominated the OH/KY games over the last decade. The only teams on the schedule that I think could and should be replaced are East Carter and Greenup Co. Couple that with having Fairview already in their district and Nicholas County, and you have a tough schedule.

Fairview Schedule Analysis:
Very happy to see what they have scheduled this year. Adding Hazard(we all know who they are), Lawrence Co(already commented on them), and James N. Gamble from Cincinatti, OH(dont' know much about them but they are a OH private school). Plus that have to play Raceland in the district. Still give the edge to Raceland between these two in the strength of schedule battle, but Fairview made major strides with that this year. Hats of to them.

Pikeville Schedule Analysis:
Lets face facts, their district is terrible. If they lose a district game on a DOWN year, then something is bad wrong. The other teams have just fallen apart recently. Prestonsburg(very competitive each season), Hazard(again, we know who they are), Sheldon Clark(very fast, talented), Belfrey(BELFREY...nuff said), and Middlesboro as their non district games. Probably the stoutest schedule on the east side of the 1A bracket.

Williamsburg Schedule Analysis: Again, their district is very weak. Their non district schedule includes Halls, TN(haven't heard amazing things about them), North Laurel(Not a power, but a bigger school), Pike County Central(also on fairviews schedule, a bigger school, but not a consistently strong program), same can be said about Harrison Co, and Wayne Co.

Now, I don't see how any one can look at the schedules and say Williamsburg has just of a tough schedule as anyone. I rate them like this:

Pikeville/Raceland(Pikeville slight edge due to some mtn-esque teams.)

Hazard(weak district but plying mtn teams like Breathitt, belfry and Pikeville puts them ahead of fairview)

Fairview(much stronger than in the past...but not as tough as they could probably handle)

Williamsburg (weak district, and over all weak non district schedule)
