To expound further:

There are a handful of programs that I have always considered to be excellent programs but their championship tallies and their recent success makes it hard for me to put them up there. For a lack of a better word I may be simply am ignorant to their history to make an informed guess:

Hopkinsville
Owensboro
Franklin-Simpson
Hazard

In addition is a program like Paintsville who was very strong for years and had one of the State's All-Time winningest coaches. Yet they have been painfully bad for decades now

It is also fun to think of teams who's successes are more predicated either on their past laurels, or their recent ones. I like to think of this like the terms "old money" and "new money". For example...

New Money: Boyle County, Central, Lexington Catholic

Old Money: Corbin, Ashland, Pikeville, Manual

Then the final category to consider are the programs who simply are gone: Lou. Flaget, Lynch East Main.. both of these were legendary programs but their doors have long since closed
