The following is a new article from WWE.com:
Kaneâs status for Money in the Bank to be announced Friday
Following The Wyatt Familyâs vicious assault on Kane Monday night on Raw, sources tell WWE.com that a decision regarding The Big Red Machineâs status for Sundayâs Money in the Bank All-Stars Ladder Match will be made known on Friday.
The harrowing attack happened immediately following Kaneâs match against Christian. Led by Bray Wyatt, the duo of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper rammed steel ring steps into Kaneâs head and upper body, requiring the former World Champion to be stretchered out of the arena and taken to a local medical facility. On Tuesday, the belief was that Kane would be doubtful to compete in Sundayâs huge âall-starâ affair.
âDue to the head and neck trauma suffered by Kane, we precautiously immobilized his cervical spine with a cervical collar,â WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com Tuesday.
The WWE medical teamâs biggest concern, according to Amann, was that Kane may have suffered brain or cervical spine trauma âthat may be significant enough to either warrant surgery, or an extended period of time away from the ring.â
