My first priority in this life is to represent Christ. I fail often in that but it remains my goal. Anything that gets in the way of that must be shed. And the fact is it is clear to me that having my son in such a visible position makes it impossible for me to be a part of this without friction. It will make life worse for him as well. And me arguing with folks will do nothing but harm for all involved.

I grew up fatherless and those who know me know that I am fanatical about my sons. I never intend to fight their battles for them - just by their side. I never had that - they always will so long as God gives me breath then from the windows of heaven if He permits. So with that allow me to say thanks to the excellent folks on this site whom I have enjoyed many great discussions and learned much from your perspective. It has been a blessing.
