1. Highlands- Birds make the Bluegrass Proud. Everyone else is playing for #2.
2. Simon Kenton- Pioneers legitimize their stake by knocking off the 4A Runner-Ups
3. CovCath- Colonels pick up where they left off last year by dominating fellow NKY teams...
4. Ryle- Raiders get a big win over the 5A Runner-Ups.
5. NewCath- Give them Breds some credit. They may not stay in the Top 5..but a quality win playing up will at least give them a cup of tea with the other top dogs.
Just Missing:
Conner- Idle thusfar, but impressive in scrimmage action
Dixie Heights- Expectations are high for this idle team as they are expected to vastly overachieve off last season's record. What better way to see if they are contender or pretender than the Battle of the Colonels against Cov Cath?
