If that is the case, why does the KHSAA not let teams schedule two games per week normally. No, I disagree!!!! Two games per week is not ideal and introduces student athletes to undo risk. Especially with both teams having the same open week. I think the idea that just because they are young they will heal is a horrible idea. It takes a lot out of a kid to play a football game, and I think this increases the likely hood of a student athlete being injured. I think there was a simple solution to play week 4.

It happens all the time.
Look at smaller school who have freshmen that play three times a week in frosh, jv, and varsity ball.
Its usually rare, but theres a lot of kids that do it.


Also, if you play at a school where coaches are rough like we played back in the day, you pick up a lot more injuries in practice than you do in a game.
