Johnson Central vs Noblesville Lions 9/7

You should probably worry about Pikeville tomorrow night. Once Sheldon Clark dropped (end of May) numerous teams have been called and open dates were posted in the states of Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. No one stepped up. Sheldon Clark dropped, Bourbon County did not return a call or email about playing, Breathitt was a no go, and Shelby County said no. One team, I'll leave nameless, replied, "Yes we are open and no we do not want to play you." Not much you can do when a team that had been scheduled for months drops you a month before season started. Most teams have their schedule filled.

Tomcat Pride said it best though, this is better than no game at all. If this was a baseball game or a basketball game it wouldn't be a big deal since they play so many. However, you get one game a week in football and it would be an injustice to the kids for not playing a full schedule. Shoot, you should appluad a team like them for stepping up and playing regardless of the final score. At least they had the guts to.
