From what I was told from fans at the game, HHS offense could not be stopped by JH, but HHS offense stopped it self twice with unforced fumbles in side the 10. Take those 14 points and take 7 points that JH got from a botched kick off and you could have a 21point swing. The game could easily have been 50-19 or possibly 57-19 if Highlands does not turn the ball over. That is a couple of ifs, but fans I talked to said they would feel very comfortable in a rematch and would expect a bigger margin of victory. They also gave JH a lot of props for playing hard and not giving up.

We can all what if this game to death. John actually scored on a 4th and 1 at the Highlands one yard line but a false start penalty sent them back and they kicked a field goal. They also had I think a 1st and goal inside the Highlands 10 yard line and had a holding penalty set them back. IMO that was two TDs they should have had but had to kick field goals. 50-19 or worse is ridiculous and would never have happened. If you want to what if this it may have been something like 47-34 based on John's mental mistakes. Highlands is a great team, but they are not 4 TDs better than John.
