Its funny that here, the liberals are the one who usually go to the extreme on issues that really dont mean anything, while in countries like Iran, its the conservatives that are complete whack jobs.

You have to keep in mind who gets to define what constitutes a "conservative." To a liberal media, any government that is not pursuing what they believe is a positive, constructive agenda is "right wing" or "conservative." That is why most people now believe that the National Socialist party of Hitler (i.e., "Nazis") were a right wing group, when they were in fact the opposite. The conservatives in Iran are only labeled whack jobs because the liberal media believes that they are whack jobs, not because the media believes that they are right wingers.
