PP, there are many people that have copies of XP on discs. You ask around and I'm sure that one or more of your friends will have a disc and the code for it to upgrade. You can reuse the code ALOT of times.

No, you can't. The whole product activation scheme is deisgned to ensure that.

PP ... buy it. But before you do that, you better upgrade your hard drive (XP needs s p a c e) ... and add RAM until you're running 512 megabytes (like I said, XP needs s p a c e). You'll especially need those upgrades with a new version of Windows coming out toward the end of 2006. And now we're running into money.

It might actually be cheaper just to go to Best Buy and get a new computer, unless you're using a laptop.
