Boyle Co. 22 - Lexington Catholic 13

Rebel55 Wrote:If they fall in 3A they will have to play there. KHSAA no longer allows any team playing up a class. I have heard talk that Boyle could also drop to 3A on the next realignment. Boyle graduated their biggest class ever and their numbers have dropped. All depends on where everyone else falls next alignment as Highlands is the smallest of all 4A schools and could also go down. It's going to be interesting.

Your absolutely correct sir, Highlands is at about 415's in boys enrollment and Lex Cath is at about 420's ( don't quote me though ). The line that draws the 4A to 3A is right about 390's. It is going to be interesting on the next realignment. Regardless of 3A or 4A, hope that Lex Cath and Boyle Co. ends up in the same district. Besides Saint X and Trinity... Boyle and Lex Cath IMO is one of the most entertaining rivalry left in the state. And I have only live here for 15 yrs.
