How about instead of doing away with sportsmanship try this. Use some of the gate money from each game to pay a law enforcement agency to have someone there to ensure they can do this without problems.

I don't know about other schools, but at Knox Centrals home games there is always 3-4 on duty police officers there and some that are off duty. We have never had a problem one way or another at any football games.

So maybe some police presents might help with the fans in the stands. As far as the players go that's all on the coaches to control thier players.
