Gridiron Grit, all I ever see you post is talking up Graham Gordon. Whom I wholly believe to be a good quarterback, however he takes too long making his reads and tries to force throws. He also has poor ball protection and he is oblivious running around the backfield and tries to run when it's okay to check down or throw the ball away and has fumbled a couple times this year because of that. If he can correct mental errors then he can be a solid, if not one of the best quarterbacks in the state (the tools are there). But his mental makeup is iffy. He's still a little immature and doesn't quite understand what it takes to be a good leader, (hence the disciplinary issues, skipping practices, poor respect in the locker room) and needs to grow up a little on and off the field before he can be truly great. The reason they're going with Jake Ryan, the senior quarterback, is because he is a great leader and makes smart decisions. All I ever hear is about Ryan being put down and being called a bad quarterback, and he really isn't that bad. He wont make the big highlight reel plays, but he'll protect the ball and manage the game. The line is undersized and has been hit with an injury bug, but they work hard and it's hard to hold a block for 10 seconds. The defense at times has looked fantastic, but remember that they've also played some VERY stout competition lately. It seems that everyone always blames the line or defense, but in reality, -win as a team, lose as a team. Creek will be fine. Regardless of quarterback.
