If you can look at a prepubescent child and know prior to fifth grade that they are going to be a great ball player, then you my friend have an unbelievable amount of knowledge. Kids that age grow at completely different rates. And I would make the argument that the middle schools would benefit much more then high schools would by a hold back. Thing that bugs me is that you can't tell me anything negative that comes of it. Sounds like either a.) you tried to be an athlete in school and failed miserably or b.) you are trying to live through your own child and unfortunately he or she just isn't that good or c.) your just a pansy.
