JC should win big in this one. They have enough "red shirt college freshman", oh excuse me I mean hold backs 18 / 19 yr. olds to win this one. Bet they win the 8th grade state with all the should be 9th graders too. LOL Amazing how holding back KIDS makes you into a power house huh. Guess after the new KHSAA rule goes into effect, coach will have to start talking to those 5th graders to stay back a year so that they can continue the um.............TRADITION. LOL Simply amazing......LOL

Ok but I can tell you this... Remember a few years back, JC middle school participated in the state middle school football tournament ( so those kids should be around soph, juniors or perhaps seniors ) in high school now. So far so good? That team came and played at Lafayette HS. Early morning game in fact, so far so good sir? In fact If im not mistaken, JC fans were even placed on the home side of the stadium. So far so good Richard? I even got a chuckle when some of the JC fans ask the Lafayette grill guy if they would considered serving fried balogna sandwiches at their concession. Sure enough after that day, Lafayette HS did and stated to sell fried balogna sandwiches over thier grill. It was a hit to Lafayette fans. How do I know all these info... If you were at that game or any of you here ie. pulp, Bob segar, kygamenight or whomever.... I was one of the 2 in uniform presence that day ( figure it out ). So no I will not reveal you my name, nor my rank, nor what department I work for. And that my firend its the ONLY thing I know and have knowledge of Johnson Central. NOTHING else, but a football fan for life.

Ok I'm going to just ask a question that a lot of people in eastern ky would like to know. Without upsetting everyone, and saying I am looking for excuses and whining etc. I don't have a favorite team in this. With that being said, and looking at it open minded, how many kids that are in grade 7-12 have JC were actually held back in grade or middle school. And the question is, if it is a high number, wouldn't you all agree that it can really be a huge advantage in regards to age. Such as a 7th grader that gets an extra year at 7th, 8th etc. Then when they are in high school, the team actually gets a kid or several (as what has been said), that are what would have been in college, still playing high school football. Again just asking. I actually don't see a problem, but only if the kid would have been a 13yr. old freshman. Which is the case why some hold their kids back. Please only educated facts need reply on this. Not something like "whining, crying" just how many from 7-12th that have been held back during their school yrs. Thanks
