It's a dumb wager. I doubt that anyone in their right mind doesn't think that Trinity is still the team to beat, but that has NOTHING to do with rankings and how they are contrived!

Umm, did anyone really think that the one loss Alabama was the #2 team in the nation last year when they faced the #1 ranked Notre Dame???? Notre Dame deserved the #1 ranking, but everyone knew they were not the #1 team!

Everyone can whine all they want about rankings, but it's what you did last week, not what you will do tomorrow! Everyone can feel at eased, the disrespected St. X and Trinity will get to prove themselves in the playoffs and reclaim their rightful spot at the top of all rankings list after they win the "Kentucky State High School Football Championship" Confusedhh:
