Dixie Heights @ Simon Kenton 11/15 (6A Playoffs)
#10
Spirit100 Wrote:Good to hear SK is back to their full team. It will make a potential Dixie "upset" that much more rewarding. Special teams will not be an issue for Dixie in the rematch and the Colonels will be that much more focused on Friday. Circumstances around the first game were very unique.

I hope the Pioneers are thinking they'll win by 20 Confusednicker:. Turnovers and offensive play calling will determine the outcome. I like that SK is taking risks and introducing a QB throwback into the mix. A razzle dazzle play may be pivotal, it also can produce a turnover.

I predict Kuntz will complete more passes and Moore will scramble for more yardage than in game 1. I'll be shocked if this games margin is more than 10. It will be another slobber knocker and if Dixie sticks to the run vs. pass 75/25% the Colonels advance and if that ratio goes to 80/20 I really like Dixies chances.

If they get out of sync and pass more than 25% the Pioneers will advance. I will be tailgating on Pioneer turf with SK friends pre-game and look forward to a great football game. Those in attendance are going to see many very good NKY athletes on both teams, and both sides of the los:Thumbs:.

Prayers for an injury free game. In the meantime, Go Camels, we all would like the region championship to be held in NKY.

Nice way to sum it up Spirit. This game and the X vrs. Male game are fantastic 2nd round games in 6A. I think the key to the Dixie/SK game is simple, who wins the line of scrimmage. I think Dixie did the first game.
