I have all the respect for Lawrence County in the world, and the coaching tree they have produced is really impressive. They had some phenomenal teams for a long time, teams that kicked Belfry's behind several times. Then they had players like Parker, West, Wright, Michael, etc. who had awesome college careers and are making a name for themselves coaching, which is fantastic.

I have nothing bad to say about that, even if I wanted to.

As bucslover68 pointed out, it is a TEAM game, and I don't see the point of arguing over individual accomplishments. None of those things are going to make a difference in this game.

I hope everyone is geared up and ready to go tonight. I hear we have a couple of kids with something flu-like that may sit out but other than that the Pirates should be more or less at full strength. An improved defensive performance would be a good shot in the arm moving forward. We seem to be playing hard and with good effort, but we aren't reacting quick enough and we just aren't there defensively. Even so, not many 3A teams can outscore us, so I feel pretty good about our chances.
