Folks better start factoring the weather Friday night into their predictions. Highlands has an exceptional passing game but rain and wind are not friends to the passing game. Couple that with a much healthier CovCath team than the first go round and I see a close game looming Friday night.

Our running game is highly overlooked and will carry us well. We have some solid runners, but utilizing the passing game has always been a trademark of Coach Mueller. Looking at recent years though, he runs it a lot more as he gets deeper in the playoffs. I still think Johnson Central would have given us a better run, Matney knows this team very well and his style of ball has worked well against us at times in the past. Cov Cath has already played Highlands once and deep down wants nothing more to do with the Bluebirds. I expect a running clock no later than early in the fourth quarter.
