Technically not true. Bo McMillin DID transfer to Somerset from Fort Worth, TX in 1916, and yes he was 21 years old when he played for the Jumpers, but by all accounts he lived within the city limits of Somerset . . . in the storefront apartment that the SHS football boosters rented for him, lol.

Your first statement I find pretty disingenuous, given the fact that ANY young man in Pulaski County who wanted to play football until 1982 simply HAD TO attend Somerset. There were no other options. And for the past 30 years since, to suggest that the program owes the bulk of its success to out-of-district athletes simply is not accurate.

I was stating a fact. It's been well known that Somerset has been one of the biggest complainers of the Private vs Public debate. I stated a fact that several well know players since 1982 lived in the county and attended Somerset. No where did I ever say they owed their success to the kids out in the county. My point is don't throw stones at the privates, if you live in a glass house.
