I have to say I was concerned earlier in the week about the game being at Murray. But they did a good job of providing extra bleachers for our fans. It was very crowded, but it was a great atmosphere. Their stadium is unique as it is part of their baseball field, but it's a cool old stadium. The fans were top notch to us. Very friendly.
The game was not very competitive. I really thought that they would put up more of a fight, especially after reading their local papers article on the game. Their coach said he thought he had it figured out how to stop our offense. Clearly he didn't. I don't see how this team beat Caldwell? We pretty much did what we wanted, on both sides of the ball.
Now we get to represent the West side of the state in the 2a title game. Our boys are ready. 89 players, and 1 heart. That's our motto.
