I believe they have a good staff, but I am not sure I would say a Solid, solid staff at this point. If you cant hit it, then you wont contend, just ask Coach Hillard about that. A young Panthers team struggled to hit the ball as Fr., but kept most teams in check with their staff. A year older and experienced, teams better pay attention to this young team. With 2 Sr. and the rest Soph and Fr. they will suprise a lot of ppl in the 13th this year. Their key to success is also if they improve at the plate. A hit here and a hit there against M'boro in the region last year and they would have advanced to the second round. The usual suspects will be there(North, South, HC), but I think more teams will have a chance to compete and possible upsets will occur in the next coming years in the region.

Not trying to start a war here but wasn't last year the first that HC advanced past the 1st round of region? If so, how are they the usual suspects over teams like Middlesboro or Corbin who regularly advance in region?

Like I said, not trying to start a war. Just disagree with wording. That said, they will be a major factor in region this year. I am not denying that.
