All stars are chosen or should be chosen by what they have accomplished in their career not how big their school is or what reputation their football team has had. Im sorry as a fan with no dog in it I would not accept these credientials as all star material. 3 wishes everyone knows that it is a given that 2 or 3 spots are reserved for the kids from Whitley, Williamsburg and Corbin to insure that a fan based is established so if you think politics aint in these selections get a grip. Look at the past rosters to prove my point:popcorn:

I have no dog in the fight either but you are the one acting mad and upset so I was explaining some misconceptions. Whether spots are reserved or saved Whitley, Corbin and Williamsburg has quality players that are worthy of making the team so what does it matter? The bowl game started about 7 years ago mainly as EKY vs ETN and has recently just branched out to include the whole state. So yes in years past there will be a lot of EKY kids on the roster because that was the bowl billing even though other kids from the state were included.
My point is these bowls and all state teams aren't perfect science and it is a bunch of whiners that constantly complain about a good bowl game. You can preach politics all you want but you also have to know that the coaches reach way out all year during their own seasons to find these players and scout them just for this one game. So for the most part it is who they want and the committee wants and I assure you they always want the best but they may not always get the best because of reasons I stated before.
