without putting a name out there, how do you select a qb that has 9 interceptions/11 td"s 1534 passing yards and -2 rushing yards. I could see if the passing yardage and stats were offset by the ability to run the ball, oh well:Sad04:

want get no argument here, I would take Sizemore or Guffey either one, I have seen both of them play and I know a little about that position.

Guys, numbers are sometimes deceiving. I would also take Sizemore or Guffey on any team of mine. What you need to look at is the competition Nagle faced week in and week out. That competition included playing Male (twice), Lexington Catholic, Bowling Green, Archbishop Moeller OH, Trinity, Dupont Manual, & Cincinnati St X OH.

Do you think either Guffey or Sizemore could produce the numbers they did against that type of competition each week?

Do you think Nagle could have put up the X-box stats facing the competition Guffey and Sizemore faced each week?

Here is a good example, and this is still not quite the same caliber of teams but a good example. IMO the 2 toughest opponents Sizemore faced all year was Wayne County & Mayfield. The totals for those 2 games are 33/63 completions for 333 yards 2 td's and 6 int's.

IMO the 2 toughest opponents for Guffey was Belfry and Central. His stat line for those games was 28/68 for 384 yards 1 td and 2 int's.

Now if those stats held true through 12 games, (same as Nagle played) those totals for the season against like competition would be:

Sizemore 198/378 for 1998 yards 12 td's 36 int's for the year
Guffey 168/408 for 2304 yards 6 td's 12 int's for the year

Looks a little different when you compare apples to apples and not oranges.

I am personally happy for all these kids and wish them the best. I would take either one on any team of mine.
