Is this game for the best in TN and the best in KY or the best in Eastern Ky? I mean don't get me wrong, I LOVE eastern Ky and our WONDERFUL kids. I am not being a smart butt, I really want to know. Has this game replaced the old KY/TN all star game? I don't have a clue about who selects this team but if this is a game that covers the entire state of TN and the entire state of KY then I want the best of the best to play for us. I am a realist and realize there will be kids left off that maybe should have been there but what is the answer? NOBODY, it don't matter who is doing it will make everybody happy, that's just the way life is. By the way, who are the coaches for us?

When this game started up, it consisted only of team east of I75.
That has changed to encompass the whole state. Call it a trial run if you will, this committee seen the potential for it to become what the former TN/KY all star game use to be.
With that being said, things have also changed in the selection process. There is now a combine for potential players. You don't automatically receive and invitation and are on the team. You have to show up to the combine and make the team if im not mistaken. Another problem is coaches have to nominate there players, and then get everything else done. Some coaches wont do this because there lazy.
If you got a QB who threw for 6,000 yards, broke several state records, but played a bunch of 0-10 teams every week, and then rolls in Kluntz from Simon Kenton, the differences are going to be blatantly obvious and total yards don't mean you've got a better player. This is where things like a combine help.

Again, this is just what ive been told. I don't know that is word for word like it is, because im not apart of it, but I think its pretty close.
