To me personally, and this not a knock to those who go NAIA, but it just seems like a waste of time. Unless you get a full ride scholarship and get a free degree, there was nothing that drew me to want to go play ball at the NAIA level. You know your not going pro, theres no sense of pride in it for you, and other than eating for free, its really hard to get the grades and play football.
Im glad the kid chose UK. Hes only trying to better himself that way.

That is totally a knock on anybody who plays NAIA and that's exactly what you meant to do. I won't discuss how wrong you are in this thread because this is about Carson.

Congrats to Carson! So good to see hard work pay off and good things happen to good kids. He will continue to make Harlan County proud. I've watched Carson play since he was in the 5th grade and it's just been a blast watching him grow up into such a wonderful young man.
