Lttle League Dist#7, Who are them teams to look out for this year?
#7
"THOMCAT" Wrote:Paintsville Little League will be down this year due to the new Cal Ripken League starting in Johnson County. The following players are returning Paintsville Little League All-Stars that, according to what I hear will be crossing over to Cal Ripken: B.J. Hamilton, Nick McKenzie, Jimmy Preston, Jordan Young, Quade Ward, Ross Sanor, Timmy Miller, Tanner Blevins, Alex Tibbs, Chase Blevins, Kasi Watson, Garrett Lemaster and Chaynse Hill and many other good players that did not make all-stars. Also, the following managers or coaches from last season will be associated with Cal Ripken and not Paintsville Little League: Ben Hamilton (Coach for Diamondbacks and Manager of 11 year old all-stars), Darrick Preston (Coach for Dodgers and Coach for 9-10 year old all-stars), Randy Blevins (Coach for Mariners and Coach for 9-10 year old all-stars), Harry Meek (Manager for Orioles and Manager of 11-12 year old all-stars will move up to next level), Gary Hill (Coach for Rangers), Bob Gourdouze (Manager of Mariners will move up to next level) and Willard Burton (Coach for 11 year old all-stars).

WOW! So you are telling me that Paintsville would have had 13, 11 & 12 yr old allstars returning this season? Funny, there are only 12 on a team. The post was:

.
This is not a post about Cal Ripken or Little League like what was on the other site.
I am sure that Paintsville will be right there in the thick of it no matter who is there. Paintsville Little League is always a class act and everyone knows that they field a very competetive team year in and year out. The same as Belfry, HAP and Morgan. I have spoken with many of the coaches and representatives of the league and they feel that they will be fine. They have been around now for 53 years and placed a team in a State Tourney for, I think 18 consecutive years, WOW! You guys do an AWSOME job so keep up the good work and we we see you right there when you make a run for a State spot this season. Good Luck to all the boys and girls in Dist. #7!
Just waiting to hear those words "PLAY BALL"!
So who else thinks that they may have a shot a going to state this year? I know Belfry is hoping to make a run at it.
