Thank you Steve Jewell for a job well done at Corbin

As I said, I've had my fair share of criticisms but I will give credit where credit is due. You can't help the district that you are placed in. To not lose a district game for a decade and only lose 55 games in 15 seasons is about as impressive as it gets. My hat goes off to Coach Jewell.

I've dabled in coaching myself and you certainly have a lot to deal with. I can only imagine the pressure from the inside out at a job such as Corbin. I view this similar to Tubby Smith's time at UK. If you look at the big picture, it was a great time but there are a few questionable things that could've made it better. I think we should take the time to appreciate what Coach Jewell has given even if we didn't always agree with his philosophies. It was a perfect time to ride off into the sunset and he's been rewarded with a great position where he can remain close to the program.
