My grandfather no my moms side served in the navy in the South Pacific in WWII. I can remember all the different stories he would tell me when I was a kid about the war. He was just a kid of 17 when he went off to war.

From listening to him and my father stories from nam is what made me decide to join myself. I'm greatfull to them both.
