Was very fortunate to spend Independence Day in Panama City Beach Florida for a baseball tournament. I can tell you this was by far the best 4th of July that I've experienced since marriage and fatherhood crossed my path 18 years ago.

I met a lot of great people from TN, GA, MS, LA, TX, and AL. The level of patriotism and enthusiasm for our country was something I have never witnessed. Closest to was when we beat the Russians in Hockey in the Olympics. The southeast of our country is doing well, driven, god honoring and frankly after my son graduates high school I have no qualms about moving further south from the Mason-Dixon line.

We are still the greatest country to live in. We need to iron out a few kinks and get back to more liberty, less taxes, more self accountability, and lose the "entitlement issues" a few generation of lackies has adopted!
