Sorry for the late post, but it was a little unexpected. Southern's defense was better than I thought. They bent but didn't break and of course Damien looked terrific, but I was impressed with Southern up front. They got the push all night. GRC did some nice things as well and have some very good kids, but did a fair to poor job tackling in the open field, even on guys not named Damien. I really feel like Southern can beat Pulaski after watching the Maroons beat Madison Central. Southern should have no problem with Rockcastle, but I will say the first game of the year can pose some jitters. Southern plays a very solid schedule and I look for them to be 9-1 or 8-2 on the year...should be a solid year.

Maybe you can clarify on this. PC absolutely manhandled Central. Serious question...I know Central is not very good, but what makes you think that this is the year Madison Southern beats Pulaski based off that scrimmage?
