Don't get me wrong, Dalton is a very talented athlete. But he is happy with being talented and not striving to be an exceptional athlete. You just do not quit on a play until the whistle blows. By no means was this loss Daltons fault or any other players fault. Raceland had a very good game plan to keep him contained. Him getting ejected was on him. He became frustrated and could or would not control his emotions. You win or lose as a team and he let his team down. He has to learn, no matter what sport, it is not always going to go his way. I really hope he can overcome this negative, because if he can, he has the ability to go far. These refs were not going to let this game get out of control like the Breathitt game. They called it close and I thought fairly. There is plenty to work on now and if I was coach we would be at practice on Saturday. I said before this game if LC did not control turnovers and penalties it would be a long night. I believe Raceland scored on all 7 LC turnovers which says a lot about both teams. LC got a beat down on homecoming and they helped their own beat down tremendously. Now is the time you pull together on a common goal or you slowly disintegrate. Sometimes a loss can be a wake up call. This one was very loud and clear.
