I don't post very often, but to see somebody get on here and rip a kid like that is totally uncalled for.
#1 How in the world can you possibly think it helps the team you're a fan of in any way to single out a player like that?
#2 Your facts are wrong. Middlesboro lost two fumbles but that kid didn't fumble a single time in the game. There was one interception at the 50-yard line with 14 seconds to go before halftime. Union threw a 50-yard touchdown pass on the next play to tie the game. A freshman took every snap but one at QB in the fourth quarter and didn't look bad. The kid you're so down on came back in due to an injury (cramp) and ran in a 3-yard touchdown on a broken play instead of hanging his head for being took out of the game.
I was at the game. I saw a lot of kids trying their hardest to win but there just too many mistakes against a good opponent (2 fumbles, the int., a bad snap on a punt, 10 penalties, giving up a 67-yard kick return to start the second half). All of those things won't usually happen in one game and most of them are fixable. I think the team will be fine going forward unless the players start pointing fingers and doubting the coaches like you're doing. Then they might not even make it out of the first round.

This guys almost 18 years old.. Get real if your not good enough to play your not you must be his daddy or something... And go back watch the Pikeville game every other play is a broken play because the guy dont know which side is the handoff if its a toss or up the gut he needs to learn his plays if you ask me... I mean honestly when your in college its tough love for qbs so why should a senior in hs be any dif..
