Man you really have a problem with anything lawrence county, if fairview can do it lawrence county should have no problem. I just wonder what your problem is with the kids at lc, you are always putting them down football, basketball, baseball what's the deal. I mean you are not as bad segar, ( he calls them bush leauger). But you act like you have 1st hand knowledge of all things lawrence county athletics. So be turthfull man what's your problem? I know your not going to our games in all sports so I don't understand what you base all your negative attitude about lc on. I understand seger he has obsession with all things lawrence county steming from when one of lawrence county baseball players stole his girlfriend back in the day. So baseball 1974 what's your story.

It may come across that way as being negative and I apologize if it offends you? I have nothing against Lawrence at all, especially not their players. Like I've said many times, my only connection to LC is when I started covering them with the media after I retired from coaching. It is a unique situation there and I think it has a lot of potential to be great at a lot of sports. However, some of the things I've seen over the years whether it be from coaches, administration, parents, etc. has really made me wonder how good they could've been if things were different? I have an opinion about it, and there are several other schools I've commented on as well about certain things. It doesn't mean I have a vendetta, but simply an unbiased opinion that you obvious don't like? I'm not sure why its so difficult for you to understand the concept of someone having an alternate opinion other than your own? Seems like no matter who it is that has a different opinion other than something that you agree with, you automatically assume "he must have something personal that happened, that's why he's saying those things?" When in reality, I'm completely unbiased from any team other than Ashland, and I graduated so long ago that even that doesn't count anymore. I support every school and every sports program that does things the right way and puts the kids in their program first. I want all of eastern KY to be competitive because it ultimately makes everyone better when that is the case. Also, one correction, covering Lawrence is not my only connection, I have a very good friend that I've known since the 70's that use to coach at Lawrence. I guess that would be another connection I have to them.
