You do understand what example means, right? The first example is a DL because most people have one, and usually have it on them. It is not required, or the first thing they ask for. They are supposed to just ask for an id, and the voter is to show them proof of their identity, and almost anything with the voters name on it is acceptable. Like I said, I've been through the training, and have sat as a challenger. Again, one more time, the voter chooses what form of id they show, out of the acceptable list. I have asked to show id, and I showed a credit card, and they said, "sign the register, and go back to the booth".

I understand that you are trying to spin your way out of a bind. A driver's license is the number one form of ID asked for at the poll, every poll.
