Anxious for the new piece that goes in the helmets that will absorb shock & cut down on concussions to be released. Saw a piece about it on the news. After embedding sensors into two different types of football helmets, researchers from Virginia Tech University have revealed that one helmet was much more effective at preventing concussions than the other. According to the researchers, their findings confirm that helmets can actually be designed to reduce the risk of concussions during gameplay.
