The investigation does not address the cover-up that continued long after the CIA determined that there were no protests prior to the attacks on the compound. The study does conclude that terrorist organizations, including those linked with Al Qaeda were involved in the attacks. The study did not address the bogus fairy tale that Hillary Clinton and other members of the administration repeated long after they knew the truth.

The report makes it clear that this administration hid nothing in those attacks, and did all it could to help the victims involved. There was also no stand down order. The information was mixed at the beginning, due to the fact that info was so fluid at the time. Info was changing fast, coming from intelligence.
