2011: Hazard 24 mayfield 6

hazard took 41 points from mayfield's total and added 18 of their own. By my math that is a 59 point turnaround. So to say it cant be possible that a team is that much better from year to year, isnt true. Im not saying that this will be the case, simply stating that it is possible. Another question i have is this. Has anyone went to their first state title and won? Im sure its happened, just curious as to who has done it.

a couple teams from recent........bell county won state title first appearance and another dudley hilton team bourbon county won their first appearance.
