I have heard that Belfry's Varsity squad is going to move to traditional and go against Pikeville's Junior High Squad!!!!!!:wieghts:

You heard very wrong!! If they have ever intended to compete in traditional, they would have signed up for it in when they declared...and not dropped into a different division later!

i dont know about this year, pikevilles jr high is pretty good from what ive seen but they are extremely young if belfry did go against them and dominate them itd be because they are all 5-9th grade how fair would that be?
but dont say theres not any compeition because as i recall pikeville beat belfry outta going to state in 2003 and that was there jr high squad and they had 1 guy so obviously in recent years pikeville has been more than enough compeition for belfry

You're right and KAPOS recognized what a mistake had been made in judging and changed the rules to clarify what should be recognized as a Co-ed Squad and what the difference is in CO-ED and NON CO-ED stunting and the difficulty level that exist in each so that it would never happen again.

Belfry had MAJOR CO-ED stunts that year...co-ed single-base extension/libs/full outs, basket tosses that took people's breath away...LITERALLY!! Pikeville's boy backspotted....there was not one CO-ED stunt in their entire routine!

But, about the young thing...that is the age group that they have always been and will always continue to be...so if they chose to compete with the older people...don't use their ages as an excuse when they get beat by them.
