On a serious note..... why even play this game?

The KHSAA scoreboard only goes back to 1998..... Has Phelps EVER BEAT Pikeville?
Pikeville and Phelps have played every season from 1998 to present, and Phelps hasn't even been close in any of the games.

I realize this is a district game, but the KHSAA, Pike County School Board & the Pikeville School Board should have a meeting about getting this game removed from the schedule of both teams.


If the post about Phelps only having 15 players on their roster is true..... there is no reason this game should be played.

The games I have with Phelps date back to 1984, but some scores may be missing.

Pikeville is 27-0 with the results I have. The closest game was the 1984 contest, which was a margin of 23 points. Phelps played to a 28-0 loss in 2001 in what is probably the most competitive score in the series.
