Hazard always wants to play when they think they can win, that's why the series was dead between 2009-2013 and the talk of resuming has come around now that Perry is in a down stretch. Perry has nothing to gain from playing Hazard, if we win it's "well a 5A school should beat a 1A school" and if we lose "HAHAHA a 5A school lost to a 1A school". So i'd rather it just stay dead.
That's what kills me about it.
Everyone always looked forward to that game and it was a BIG deal to the kids that played in it - but for Perry Central it was never a big deal. Hazard has everything to gain by playing a 5A school but it's not a two-way street.
