I wonder how many State Runners-Up trophies Beechwood has?

Not that it really matters but Beechwood also won titles in 07 and 08. That is a pretty good resume and I think most programs will take that. Since 2009 Beechwood has made it to the Semifinals every year except for one (2013) and were stopped by Mayfield teams that would have likely crushed Paintsville. If you or anyone else thinks Beechwood will be a pushover then you are in for a rude awakening because this is a program that is battle tested and I doubt anything Paintsville brings will intimidate them. They are also starving for that title now that Mayfield is gone. Of course everyone has to win their games to get there but before you bash one of the historically dominant programs in Class A you should probably win something first.
