CovCath brings the home field advantage with them wherever they go, so I wouldn't use homefield as a possible reason for Highlands winning.

These two comments shows me you really do not follow or know much about HHS football. Cov Cath has not been bringing much of a student section to the Highlands games and even if they do the tight atmosphere at HHS field is different than any other HS field in KY.
Have you watched any HHS games over the last 5 years and this year. To make a comment like it is coaching that is the reason they are struggling this year shows you know nothing about this team. The talent is way down (like everyone close to program knew it was going to be for several years) and while this coach may be slight bit below Dale's talent, he is still a very good coach and can only do so much with the talent that is there. QB play is down, WR play is way down, and RB play is down. You have a big drop in talent at all skilled positions yet you want to blame the coach. This team has a chance to get by Cov Cath to make it to the semi final game; if they do they would be underdogs but could very well win the game on their home field and advance to championship game. This team making in to the quarter finals or farther is a sign of a good coach with the talent that this team has, and it also shows how weak 5A and the watered down 6 class system in KY is. The talent level on this HHS team is way below any team at HHS in a long, long time whether you want to admit it or not!.
