That's the mess i'm waiting to see what happens. I know people that work everyday but their jobs just don't offer insurance, i have no problem with those getting help of some kind. I also know people that won't get off their butts to work for anything, and expect everything to be given to them. What surprises me most, talking to folks on the interwebz, is people that thinks it's ok that we just hand everything to people regardless if they are lazy or not. They actually think it's cruel to cut the lazy off. I'm not sure what Bevin will do, but i honestly do think things are going to change. As for Beshear, he said he hopes Bevin will consult him before making changes, yeah i wouldn't hold my breath on that happening. I find myself having to stay away from certain sites lately due to the fact that i want to choke people that thinks everything should be given to them or given to others. It's mind boggling how people have changed over the last 4 years. I'm sure it's been happening longer than that, but that's just about as long as i've really started to pay attention.

I understand your level of frustration with career PS4 and Xbox players thinking they should be given stuff. Two things...

First, you have seen for yourself no doubt, the bidding war going on between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, in which both are making outrageous offerings to their hands-stuck-out base. On the rare occasion when they're not trying to out promise each other, they up the ante on their own, LOL. Simply put, Dems are out actively buying votes with your money, your tax dollars. Which to me makes them traitors to American ideals such as self governance. As early as the days of America's inception, founding fathers such as Benjamin Franklin saw the inherent danger of free society. He preached a profound sermon in the following quote, and in so doing, he uses a mere 18 words; 'When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.'

So how is it then that the people may stumble on to the revelation that they can vote themselves money? Again I give you Sanders and Clinton, and frankly to no lesser degree, Barack Obama. By voting for those who promise to give you something, you are selling your vote. And the payment you will receive comes in the form of things like free health care, food stamps, housing and the like, as well as all that free time to pursue things like oil painting according to Nancy Pelosi.

Second, even though I resent the government using my own tax dollars to run these vast vote farms, I believe we who provide those tax dollars should keep speaking the truth. That being that it is in fact, demonstrably immoral for the able bodied to choose welfare subsidies over working. Despite the left's howling protests to the contrary, we Americans do get our sense of right and wrong from the Scripture. Our moral authority to judge people under our laws come directly from God Himself. In fact, our authority to self govern ourselves comes from Him also, as well as all three branches of the federal government, and the individual state governments. And He has written about that very subject extensively in His Holy Word, The Bible. Basing law on anything short of God's Word diminishes one's argument to the point where the best debater wins. That frankly, is the fine mess we find our Congress in right now. Some call it gridlock, some call it partisanship. I believe it is caused by abdicating one's moral ground, and in turning our backs on God we have become justifiably rudderless. I mean, when it comes right down to it, why is my word better than your word right? Apart from the inerrancy of God's own truth, an argument, is an argument, is an argument. Unless you're a liberal that is, in that case you redefine the argument to suit yourself, LOL.

In any case, we ought to vow to ourselves and our loved ones that we will never stop pointing out the truth. whether that be online or in town meeting. I believe we are as Benjamin Franklin clearly warned, witnessing the end of the Republic. Unless the voter awakens and realizes the richness of this blessing of freedom, and votes for men and women of repute, IMHO, it is over.
