Hoot speaks the truth. He is being rather reserved in using "transfers" instead of "recruits". However, Ashland's top "benefactor" is otherwise occupied and isn't in a position to bankroll "relocaters" like was the case with the Huntington Prep-Illinois connection. Also, those part-time retail "jobs" probably don't exist anymore. It may be hard to enlist more deep pocketed "benefactors".

There is a lot of truth in what you say, about the benefactor you speak of, dark clouds that will never see the light of day!
