All arguments are good ones, for the most part. I think Harlans goal from the beginning was to win the District and most likely the same next year. Listen, when you are dressing 30 kids at the most and have inability to play JV Games, it's my opinion you need a schedule to allow you to gain confidence and win games. Harlan is not a Pikeville or Hazard at this point. It will take winning more than one District title and progressively getting better before thinking along the lines of "the next level". Winning is a habit, unfortunately so is losing. I don't think anyone is calling the dragons a state contender. However, I see nothing wrong with wanting to consistently play for and win district Championships. Many small schools would like to be in that situation. By the way, I think the mountains have two of the best teams playing in the semi's that we've seen in a while. Good luck to those guys.
