The last state title game I attended was 2003 in papa johns. I watched Jacob Tamme and Boyle drill Highlands and Brian Brohm with Trinity battle Michael Bush and Male down to the wire. I still don't think there has been as much talent since that year in this state,

Jacob Tamme didnt even play in 2003, he graduated in 2002.

Trinity didnt even play Male, they played St. X in 2003

Maybe you mean 2002, but even then Boyle didnt play Highlands.
